About this Ketubah Original Text Style Orthodox Aramaic (Click here to view entire wording) Font Style The font in this piece is an exact copy of the font that was originally hand written by Tami and was especially created for this Ketubah. Design
This Ketubah is a variation of Sanctification A and was created especially for this site.
The bridal canopy (chupah) at the top of the piece is supported by two poles at the sides and by birds.
The graphic theme of this Ketubah is the large Magen David surrounding the text. The crown of the Magen David is the word “Shalom” which forms the upper central triangle of the Magen David, and the bottom triangle is the expression “Mazal Tov”. Immediately above the Mazal Tov is a Kiddush cup. The base of the Magen David is a Menorah, which intertwines with it.
The very top of the ellipse which contains the text is a stylized letter “Bet” which is the beginning of the first word of the text. It is an extension of a floral bouquet. Just above the upper corners of the lower triangle of the Magen David, on both sides of the “Mazal Tov”, are floral bouquets stylized into the word “Ed” (witness) on each side (immediately below the blank lines for the signatures of the two witnesses).
At the bottom of the Ketubah, behind the legs of the Menorah, is a scroll with excerpts from Shir Hashirim.

Comments
This ketubah was originally designed in 1984 as a numbered limited edition lithograph with 200 copies made. We later discovered a printing error in it and ceased selling it. It has been redone in 2009 for digital processing with the previous errors corrected and is available for order. If the writing is not significant for your purposes, or if you are interested in it as a collector’s item of Judaica, the original lithographs are available at a reduced price of $100, as is, with the details to be filled in by yourselves or your rabbi. For details please contact us.
